The mission of the Pine Ridge Elementary faculty and staff is to provide a safe, secure and challenging environment which will guide students to become life long learners as well as productive members of society.

School Facts
- Principal is Steve Scott.
- The name of the school was derived from its location on a ridge surrounded by pine trees. Pine Ridge Elementary is located in Southern Indiana, in Dubois County.
- The school was constructed in 1976 with the "open-concept" design for Kindergarten through 8th grade students. In 1987, the school became a Kindergarten through 6th grade building. The school was renovated in 1999. Walls were added to create classrooms that were self-contained learning environments. In 2005, the interior was again renovated.
- The enrollment for the Kindergarten through fourth grade classes is 273 students with an average ratio of 21 students to 1 teacher.
- Pine Ridge has a 30 station Computer Lab that was renovated in 2005. The students can utilize many pieces of integrated learning software. All the classrooms, including the lab, are networked and have access to the internet.
