Be it ordained that the following street names be changed as indicated, to-wit: (in Section 6.01.010 through 6.01.240)

Chapter 6.02 — IDENTIFICATION OF LANDMARKS

6.02.010 “Named Streets”. All lots, houses, buildings, and structures facing “Named” streets will be numbered corresponding to the number street, and on the west side of said street will end in a “5”, and on the east side of said street will end in “0”. (Ord. 0-75-4)

6.02.020 “Numbered Streets”. All lots, houses, buildings, and structures facing “Numbered” streets will be divided from Main Street as to East and West. The first block in each direction will be in the “100” block, the second block in each direction will be in the “200” block, etc. (Ord. 0-75-4)

6.02.030 Numbered Streets East of Main. To the East of Main on the Numbered Streets, the numbers on the South side will end in “1” and the numbers on the North side will end in “2”. (Ord. 0-75-4)

6.02.040 Numbered Streets West of Main. To the West of Main on the Numbered Streets, the numbers on the South side will end in “3”, and the numbers on the North side will end in “4”. (Ord. 0-75-4)

6.02.050 Upstairs Apartments. All upstairs apartments will end in “1/2” added on to the corresponding address. (Ord. 0-75-4)

6.02.060 Owners and Occupants Responsibility. It shall be the duty of the owners and occupants of every house, building, or structure in the Town to have placed thereon, in a place visible from the street, figures at least two and one-half inches high, showing the number of the house, building, or structure. (Ord. 0-75- 4)

6.02.070 Chart or Map Available for Inspection. The Town Clerk-Treasurer shall have in his custody a chart or map drawn for the purpose of showing the proper street number of every lot in the Town which shall be open to inspection by anyone interested. (Such chart or map is incorporated by reference into this Chapter. Two copies are on file in the office of the Clerk-Treasurer for public inspection.) (Ord. 0-75-4)

6.02.080 Penalties for Violation. Any person, firm, or corporation failing to so number any house, building, or other structure occupied by him, or if after receiving notice to do so from the Clerk shall continue in his failure to so number such house, building, or structure shall be fined One Dollar ($1.00) for each day during or on which a failure to so number continues. (Ord. 0-75-4)
